When Vanitha got divorced from her second husband, the court decided that their daughter, Jaynitha, would stay with her father on the weekdays and with her mother on the weekend. In 2017, Vanitha was alleged to kidnap her own daughter, Jaynitha.She later alleged that she and her crew member were badly beaten by the police personnel and thrown out of the house. Vijaykumar claimed to be the owner of the house and filed a case against Vanitha in Maduravoyal’s local police station for not vacating the house. She further added that her father has even stopped her from going to the shoots. According to her, she had been staying at her mother's house since her mother's death and now her father is asking her to vacate the house.
